Obituary of Bradley Gillard

It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing of our dear son Bradley. Bradley passed away on Monday, March 23, 2020. His death was very sudden and unexpected. He was a resident of Fort McMurray, Alberta. Born on July 20, 1975 in Glace Bay, N.S. Brad is the son of Stephen and Marilyn (Chant) Gillard. Bradley spent the past number of years working in the Oil and Gas Industry throughout Alberta. At the time of his passing he was a member of Local 92 in Fort McMurray, AB. Bradley was a very kind, considerate and humorous person who loved his family very much. He will be forever held in our hearts. Bradley is survived by his brother Todd (Susan), Dartmouth; Jeffery (Jennifer), Fort McMurray; Nieces and Nephew - Jack Stephen, Jerzee Kate and Jessie Olivia. Bradley was also survived by Mckayla and Jessie Macdonald who were his special family. Bradley is also survived by many aunts, uncles and cousins in both Canada and the U.S Bradley was predeceased by his brother Rodney. We express our sincere appreciation for the staff of the ICU at the Northern Lights Regional Health Centre for all their love and care. Cremation has taken place in Alberta. Brad's ashes will be taken back home to Glace Bay at a later date. As an expression of sympathy for Bradley’s memorial donations may be made to a charity of one's choice.
