Obituary of Jon D. Fraser
Please share a memory of Jon to include in a keepsake book for family and friends.
It is with deep sorrow and much love that we mourn the passing of John D. Fraser on November 18, 2020. John was a beloved husband, father, son, grandpa, uncle and friend.
John was a generous, caring, and loving man who never spoke a bad word about anyone. He had many passions in his life; he loved his sports, firefighting, within the last few years he fell in love with cooking. John had a wonderful sense of humour that always brought big smiles and much laughter. He was so quick with the wit, you always seemed to walk right into it. He was well loved and will forever be missed.
John will be lovingly remembered by his wife Heather, his children; Drew and Lyndsay (Tony Fraser), his stepchildren; Callum, Evan, Eric, and Jacqueline (Brandon Serroul) and his pride and joy his grandchildren Jayda and Karson. His beloved cat Pickle. His siblings Bertha (Angus), Gordie (Stacey), Catherine (James), as well as all his nieces, nephews, and many friends. John was predeceased by his parents; Gary and Geraldine.
The family would like to thank Dr.Yam and all the palliative Care staff. Special thank you to his home care nurses, especially Sonia Gosse. We would also like to thank all of the Doctors and Nursing staff at Northern Light Regional health Centre, who had always given above and beyond care for the last 3 years.
Special thank you to his niece Chrissy Beaton and friend Jackie Sceviour who both held numerous benefits for him over the last 3 years. He appreciated it so much.
John has requested that memorial donations may be made to Canadian Cancer Society-www.cancer.ca. Cremation has taken place. Due to Covid 19 restrictions, a celebration of John's life will be held at a later date.
“Some people search their whole lifes to find what I found in You. Our souls yours and mine are forever one. I love you always and forever, till we meet again my love may you rest in peace.”
