Sending heartfelt condolences to Marks family and friends (of which there were plenty). Like countless others, I was fortunate to have met and spent time with Mark. While it has been some years, an eternity could pass and you’d never forget the way Mark made you laugh or how he made you feel. He was a delight to be around. If you went somewhere and Mark was around, if nothing else, you knew you’d be laughing your face off at some point. What a remarkable human being! He was like no one else. Just reading the obituary now, very well written, and sums Mark up perfectly. You meet him once and feel like you have known him forever. I wasn't able to bring myself to read it until now, and I am still having trouble comprehending that this is real.
My dear cousin Mark, gone way too soon. You will be missed but certainly never forgotten!!! While life has passed us by and we certainly have drfited apart, I have been kept in the loop on what you, Vanessa and the boys have been up to. Every memory of Rocky Hr as a kid had Mark in it. We were always up to something, and if trouble arose as it quite often did, Mark seemed to be able to 'charm' his way out of it lol.
Sincere conolences to Vanessa and the boys, Uncle Bob, Dean, Colleen and families. Anyone who knew Mark is hurting. I know time heals all wounds but this one certainly hits hard. Take care.

I am so shocked and saddened to hear of Mark’s passing, he was one of the sweetest people I have ever had the privilege of knowing. We were very saddened by the news of Marks passing. He was such a gentleman and caring person that was always there to help. He had a great sense of humour and it was always a joy to be in his company. I remember him mostly in his younger years at the Cow Head Lobster Festivals. He was like a magnet. His witty character and fun-filled personality attracted so many to him. He had more friends than anyone else I know. It was at great sadness of the loss off Mark a young man so full off life and so much to offer in life. We have many Memories off him as a teenager being with our son Dwain and even in late years in our visits to Fort Mac he always came to visit. Those memories we well hold in our hearts forever!
