Obituary of Kevin Murphy

It is with great sadness that the family of the late Kevin J Murphy announce that he passed peacefully away at the age of 80 years old, on December 3, 2021. Kevin was born in Job’s Cove, Newfoundland, and passed away in Fort McMurray, Alberta, surrounded by his loving family. Leaving with fond and countless memories, he is survived by his wife Ardella, his two sons Tim (Denise) and Kevin (Sharon), four grandchildren, Andrea (Curtis) and son Nolan, Michael (Chelsea), and children Kingston and Aubrey, Ty (Amy) and children Tait and Saryna, and Chantal. He is also survived by his brothers and sisters; Margaret Hynes, Josephine Doyle, Mary Murphy, Ann Maclachlan (Ian), Ignatius Murphy, Helen Ford (Brian), and Tom Murphy (Bridget). Of course, there were also many cousins, nieces, nephews, extended family, and close friends. Kevin was preceded in death by his Father and Mother Thomas and Mary Kate Murphy, Brother Vincent Murphy, and Sisters Genevieve, Tracey, and Johanna Murphy. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that any donations made in Kevin’s honor go to either the Fort McMurray Salvation Army, or the Alberta War Amps Society.
