“Julie’s Dad” was his name to me. Even though I’d known him for years and had seen him countless times. He took my son and his Grandson under his wing whenever he’d come down to Edmonton to visit. He was funny and had that Eastern sarcasm that I love so much. I remember Julie and I burping in front of him at a picnic years ago and we were laughing so hard…he just looked at us and said “Gee I wonder why you girls are still single.” We’ve laughed about that for years. He always had a smart comment or quick comeback for everything. He will be missed by all who knew him. He’s up there playing around on a ham radio I know it. You’ll be missed Julie’s Dad.
