The weight of losing you has hit me like a tonne of bricks. I'm eternally grateful you were able to grace us with your presence this summer and meet our beautiful girls. I sensed you weren't well, I could feel it in your embrace, but never did I think the end was near. You were always selfless, kind, and that sense of humor...well, it was not for the light hearted! You were the glue... you were neutral, you had your challenges, but you persevered always. I am so fortunate to have had three beautiful auntie 'wonderfuls'...I know grandma, grandpa and auntie Laurie were waiting for you with arms wide open.
I send all my love to Fort McMurray and to my uncle Dave, Brendan and Tyler...
Miss you and love you forever auntie Christine Merrick Harnett. Until we meet again! xoxoxoxo

To the most beautiful, adventurous, mischievous and kindest little sister anyone could have the honour of having.
Though I was older than you I will never forget “the merry chase” you led our parents on.
As we aged and you matured you showed your true loving nature in so many ways. You were an amazing mother and friend. You helped keep together the original family that we were. I’m sure dad loved guiding and teaching you the amazing talents he possessed.
I knew you weren’t well when you visited this summer but you weren’t going to burden me with your health. You said you the very best doctors and all was well.
Who knew that would be my last time enjoying your hugs, laughs and companionship until we meet again.
I Love You More.
Rita

Q: How did you meet Christine?
A: I met Christine one night years ago when we got together at a friends place and then went out dancing. From the moment we met, I felt like I knew her all my life. What a beautiful woman, inside and out. She had a great sense of humor also. She will be forever missed. RIP beautiful lady.
