Where do I start ????
I was so shocked to hear the news and instantly flooded with so many memories. When I moved to HVGB, it was difficult not knowing anyone but, I found an instant family. Minnie made me feel I was a part of the family and was always happy to have me there. I couldn’t wait to get there after church Sunday night for the leftovers in the pie plate. She’d say “have a cup of tea now Shelly , the kettle is cooked . Pour one for me too.” I remember going there after CA’s and we’d stay there till the early hours of the morning. She was in her glee and would love to feed us. One night she hauled out the deep fryer around 2:00am and made fries and bottled caribou...I was some sick!!!
I loved Minnie and she was there for me at a vulnerable time of my life when I really needed someone. I wouldn’t change it for anything. I’d love to go back to Winsor Drive for 1 more cup of tea and a chat .
Hebe, Jacqui, and Jolie it seems there are no words adequate enough to say at this time. Remember what she instilled in you.
Sending Love and Prayers to you all.

My ole hunting buddy Uncle Heber.
Jacqui and Jolie and families
So sorry to hear of Aunt Minnie's passing.
So sorry we can't be there with you fine folk at this time.
..."Now Heb" she would say,"we gotta make room for Barry!"...
Aunt Minnie loved to laugh,
I almost got to heaven before Aunt Minnie,Once!!!
Well I never and we got to laugh about that too!
Both Dawn and I spent time with the Heddersons, some serious times that were shortly cut off by laughter!
The song Oceans by Hillsong sings about having faith in Jesus, call upon the name of the Lord, his hand will be your guide!
Aunt Minnie trusted in Jesus and called upon him in pray many times,She didn't die alone! Jesus was with her!
This is what she lived for and last week the Good Lord made room for her in Heaven!
Guys some days will be tougher than others but put your trust in Jesus let God be your guide, and he will see you thru and when we all get to heaven what a day of rejoicing that will be!
Aunt Minnie said nobody's perfect but believe and trust in the name of the Lord!
Our thoughts and prayers are with you more than you will ever know!
We love and miss you lots
Barry&Dawn Burden Brandon,Sabrina &Reese.

Our thoughts and prayers are with you all at this time and in the days to come.

I cannot believe that little Minnie has passed on. She was my second mom from early teenage years onward. The most amazing lady with an infectious smile and a giggle that could make even the grouchiest soul laugh. I have a zillion memories of being up late with Jolie and telling Minnie our secrets... to growing older and tiptoeing in long after we were supposed to be in bed. Every memory makes me smile and I have nothing but happy memories of friendship, love, laughter and youth when I think of her. Sending all of my love to Jolie, Jacqui, Heber and family. We may be far by distance, but you are always close to my heart. Love you all XO

We were shocked and saddened and to hear of minnie’s passing. Please except our deepest sympathy, and know that we will be praying for you in the days and weeks to follow. Minnie will be greatly missed at Muriel’s for her face timing. At times when we were there we would all pass the phone around, while we all said hello and had a little chat. Take comfort that she is now in the presence of our lord and master. One day we shall meet again. God Bless

Uncle Heber, Jacqui, Jolie and Families.
Words cannot express how shocked and saddened we were to hear of Aunt Minnie's passing. I have so many fond memories of her from childhood to now. Growing up in "The Valley" just wouldn't have been the same without her.
While I am just barely old enough to remember rides in the VW Bug, I did manage to get a few rides with her in the truck...I still wonder how she managed to reach the pedals to drive around!
There are just too many "Windsor Drive" memories to share... Sunday dinners, Christmas visits, and spoiled plots to run away...to Aunt Shirl's house (to name a few)!
As teenagers, Aunt Min's door was always open, we spent many weekends just hanging out or watching a movie. Many times she would head on to bed and tell us to make sure the door was locked when we left.
She always had a way of making you feel good about yourself and her laugh was indeed infectious.
I am grateful for the time we spent together this past summer, and while her visit was short she left a lasting impression on my own children.
May God strengthen you in the days and weeks to come.
Love and Prayers,
Lanny and Sonya

What a blessing to grow up with the fun and exuberance of Aunt Min in my life. Thank God for a precious Aunt Min and the joy she brought us.

Thinking of the Hedderson and Burden families and praying you will be strengthened during this sad time! Minnie and I were childhood friends as well as second cousins. Her family called her Min and my mother would not let anyone call me Min so people could easily tell which of us people were referring to. We lived next door to each other as well. I shall never forget her laugh either, but there is still her sister Murial who also has an infectious laugh. Great family, the Burden family . May you all find comfort in the Lord and your precious memories of her. Minnie and Maynard King and family st John's NL

I have many memories of this special lady and they are all beautiful memories. Before Minnie and Heb moved to Fort Mac I spent many nights at their house (which I later bought from them)just chatting and laughing. Minnie loved to laugh. When Heb worked nights, Minnie and I would drop by to see him and then go to Tim Hortons for a lunch and a chat. She was also my buddy to sit by in church. We talked a lot about being ready to die. She was certainly ready. She was always positive and always so encouraging to everyone she spoke to. And her laugh, it was so infectious. You just had to laugh when she laughed. When she moved to Fort Mac we would still talk on the phone. We would have a great laugh each time we did. Sometimes she would say things funny and sometimes embarrassing to Heb and I would hear him in the background say “Min maid”. Of course this would make her laugh more. She always told me that I was her other daughter and referred to me as “my girl”. I still can’t believe she’s gone. I’m so heartbroken. I’m certainly going to miss her. To Heb, Jacqui, Jolie and your families, you lost one very special lady and I lost a very special friend. The world just won’t be the same without her. RIP Minnie my friend. Until we meet again!
