Dear Darlene and Mel and Family,
I am so deeply sorry for your loss of your wonderful Mom. She was a delightful person and often I found myself calling her Mom. Dear Aunty Rosalie’s Family,
Our family was saddened to hear of Auntie’s passing. We were neighbors to Aunty and Bill for 12 1/2 years in Fort McMurray. They were wonderful neighbors!!! It was always a joy to talk to them outside and to see them drive off to work and wherever they were going. Aunty often told us how she could see our daughters coming and going. Our daughters, Amy and Tania, as both Gary and I, would have loved to attend the Memorial Service. Due to another commitment we have, we are unable to attend. Whenever I walked into a room - Rosalie’s face would light up, her eyes would sparkle, her smile would wreath her face and she would say my name with surprise and delight. Never, ever, have I met a person who could instil in my soul such a feeling of warmth, of love; such a sense of welcoming and of “coming home” as Rosalie could, with just her presence.

Rosalie was a very close and special friend of mine. We enjoyed many years sharing our friendship at the Golden Years Center. We enjoyed bowling, playing bocce and crib together. We shared many stories, laughs and a few tears. I always felt very close to Rosalie. I have many, many fond memories of our time spent together, including attending Mass the day before she past. She had a beautiful long life. May she Rest In Peace. My prayers and thoughts are with the family.

I am so saddened to hear of Rosalie’s passing. A long life well lived in her faith and love for all. Rosalie was never one to judge others. I had the pleasure of working with Rosalie at Alberta Power in Fort McMurray where we were not only co-workers but friends. I often referred to her as my other mum! She was admired by everyone at Alberta Power. I recall a conversation we had many years ago about her and her lipstick! She had to make sure she had her lipstick on every day, which went along with her endless smile! To the family, as you navigate her loss never forget the positive loving impact she had on everyone that crossed paths with her! Rosalie my friend may you rest in everlasting peace!

It is with great sadness that we heard about our dear friend Rosalie. After leaving Fort McMurray we did not see her often but managed a lunch at Rotary House.
We always kept in touch by phone. I have very fond memories of our time together doing the Golden Years Bowling League. Our committee also included dear friends Stella Robinson and Jose Dakin with Meg Price coming on after Stella. We worked well and Rosalie was our "fearless leader" until the Bowling Alley closed. Dick has known her longer than I when he played in a band with her husband Adelard. That was in Fort Smith. He also had fond memories of Rosalie and her loving family of which she was so proud. Our sympathy goes out to you all and we are thinking of you at this sad time. Love Sue and Dickie Dragon.

Your Mom accepted me as a part of your family the second she met me. She always wanted to know that all was going well. SkipBo was the game of choice. Not only did she play it well the love of the game has been passed on to my family. A great memory. She was very kind and loving.

We were so saddened to hear of Rosalie’s passing. We extend our sincere condolences to Marilyn and ALL the family. It doesn’t matter the age it is always so difficult to say goodbye to your Mother. Rosalie was such a sweet lady and always had a hug and a smile for me. Thank goodness for all the wonderful cherished memories that you have with your Mom, Grandma, and Great Grandma!
