Obituary of Tyler Jessie Ackerman
It is with great sadness that the family announces the unexpected passing of Tyler Jessie Ackerman on February 16, 2024, leaving a void in the lives of those who knew and loved him.
Tyler was born on December 22, 1990, to Gerald and Karen Ackerman in Fort McMurray, AB. As the youngest of two brothers, Tyler shared many childhood adventures with his brother, Chad. He graduated from Father Mercredi High School and embarked on a career in roofing at the family business.
Tyler was known for his boundless love for his family and friends. He had a natural gift for bringing smiles and cracking jokes. His adventurous spirit led him to seek out new experiences and challenges, living life to the fullest. Tyler had a passion for helping others and was happiest when he was making a positive impact on those around him.
One of Tyler's greatest joys was becoming a father to his son, Kane, born on November 23, 2021. He cherished every moment spent with his son, taking him on adventures, swimming, playing in the park, and encouraging him to explore the world around him. Tyler was also a proud uncle to his nephew, Easton.
Tyler had a wide range of passions, including snowboarding, snowmobiling, dirt bike and jet ski racing, and peddle bike adventures. He was always eager to try new things, whether it was blacksmithing or woodworking, and approached life with a sense of wonder and curiosity.
Tyler is survived by his loving parents, Gerald and Karen Ackerman; brother, Chad; son, Kane, and a multitude of family and friends.
He will be deeply missed for his kindness, sense of humor, adventurous spirit, and unwavering love for his family and friends. Tyler's legacy of love and joy will live on in the hearts of all who knew him.
