There is always that one place you could go for no reason at all. Mom’s and Daddy’s house was that place and was always warm and welcoming. Family and friends gathered for meals, celebrations and support in times of struggle. Mom enjoyed being the caregiver, preserving food, crafting, a game of cards and a good laugh. She instilled her strength and honesty and independence to her family. Her legacy will continue.
There will be a celebration of life in Rocky Harbour, NL, at St Matthews Anglican Church, on August 8, 2024, at 2 o’clock.
The family would like to thank all staff, Nurses and Doctors at Northern Lights Regional Hospital for their professionalism and kindness, and all who helped and spoke words of support in any way. We are also grateful to Robert Anderson Funeral Services of Fort McMurray and Parsons Funeral Home of Deer Lake for their guidance and support. Also a special thank you to Shari Stacey for the wonderful, positive care that you provided to our mom, she enjoyed every day with you. We will be forever grateful.
Last, but not least, Mom’s famous cat, Juice, will continue to live happily with family.
Rest peacefully Mom.
