Lisa, I will never forget the wonderful part you played in my life. You help me find Creator again, and you introduced me to traditional medicines and teachings, and for that I will be forever grateful. You helped me on my sobriety journey, and you were very honest. HiyHiy.
I remember that time we were at your house in thickwood and you seen this sale online and you were like ” Chelsey! start the car”
I will never forget that. you’ve had a beautiful smile that lit up every room and you were so kind to people. You will be missed by many.

Lisa we met shortly after Haylee was born. At my house and then ran into each other at the hospital when my grandfather and your dad were in the Royal Alex. We became really close friends and then as our lives got busier we didn't see each other as much but when we did it was always an adventure. I will always treasure our time, work and adventures together. My life was better because you touched it. I am forever grateful for our friendship/sisterhood - cousin! and for my lil cousins Tylee and Haylee.

My condolences to all family and friends of Lisa. I met Lisa a couple of times and she left a such a positive energy and impression with me. I was looking for a ribbon skirt to give as a gift and she came to me with several skirts to choose from. May her soul rest in eternal peace for all the good she has done.

I met Lisa 10 years ago when her girls attended Father Beau. We crossed paths the last 5 years at the markets. She was such a wonderful bright light. Always happy and up for a chat. You will be missed.

Lisa, you were an inspiration to many of us Metis women ✨️, who aspired to be Entrepeneurs. ( I think I've told you that time and again...) In 2021 we attended the Metis Womens Conference together and was in "awe" as I heard you speak. Your voice trembling...as you told your story. I felt every word you spoke and I don't think there was a dry eye in the room. You moved mountains Lisa. I will miss seeing you at our venues, your positivity was contagious. My favorite last memory was the Janvier Youth Xmas Venue. We just sat and beaded catching up with chit chat on friends and family we knew. This isn't fair Lisa. Your legacy will carry on through every Strong Metis Woman whose life you touched. Tomorrow I lay down some sweet grass my friend. In honor of you. Condolences.

I loved you like a Sister Lisa. You were very dear to me. We were close. You took me to Fort MacKay Last July for a celebration. That was very special to me. Then a few days later you came to my place to say goodbye & I moved from Fort McMurray after spending almost 14 wonderful years of friendship with you. I will sure miss you my one of a kind precious friend. Love You Forever
From Your Friend Bonnie Gould Ploughman.

In the fabric of life, our beloved Lisa was a radiant thread. She wove kindness, friendliness, and creativity into every moment. Her generosity knew no bounds as she shared her passion with those fortunate to cross her path. The cherished memory of when she gifted me my first medicine bag is a testament to this; I wear it proudly, an eternal symbol of our precious bond. Her spirit continues to inspire us all. May Lisa's vibrant soul rest in peace.

With profound sorrow, we remember Lisa, our dearly departed cousin who radiated kindness and intelligence. Her generosity was remarkable, her thoughts always optimistic and considerate. Lisa's creativity knew no bounds and was courageously infused into every task. She passionately gifted a treasured first medicine bag, crafting a story that now nestles in our hearts. We honor her memory with pride as she embarks on her celestial journey amongst angels.

Lisa is a dear friend and my birthday twin. I will miss wishing her a Happy Birthday this year and Receiving one back from her. Lisa and I would spend time together every so often. Seeing each other sometimes more than other times because life gets busy. I will miss my little visit with her and checking out her table of goods she was selling at Métis Crossing. Fly high with the Angels my friend.
My thoughts and prayers are with Mr.Man and her beautiful teenage girls ♥️♥️♥️
