Obituary of Perry Micheal Bennett

Perry was a true friend, a loving husband and beloved father and was a happy man that enjoyed working hard, helping others and enjoyed the company and companionship of his family and countless friends.

A mechanic by trade, he was a talented musician, able to play many instruments - his favourite being the accordion. Perry was a member of the local pool league and was highly respected by the many who had the honour and joy to know him. He was a loving father and a cherished friend with a kind, concerned heart that demonstrated compassion and love for all – a gentle man, a friend, a hero to many, with a heart of pure gold.

Perry leaves to mourn his loving wife Joanne, son Terry Meyer, daughter Maria Middleton, son Arthur and daughter Tiffany and his grandchildren Isabelle, Elizabeth, Claude, Marcus, Anthony, Jayden, Xzavier and Lucas and Jackson

Perry will be missed beyond words – but will remain in our hearts forever.

Perry was predeceased by his daughter Amara on May 27th, 2019, his parents, Edward and Gertrude and his brother Arthur.

Funeral Service: St. Paul’s Roman Catholic Church, Fort McMurray, on Tuesday, June 18th, 2019 at 11am. Friends may pay their last respects beginning at 10am.

Donations in Perry’s memory may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation (heartandstroke.ca), the Canadian Cancer Society (cancer.ca) or to the charity of one’s choice.
