I would like to extend my deepest condolences to Sheila and Bruce, Krissy and Blayke, and to Jabez and his family. I was so very saddened and shocked to hear of Gabriel's sudden passing. I loved him as a sweet little boy in my Kgn class so many years ago. I will treasure those memories. My heart aches for all of you, and I pray for strength and peace for you from the God of all comfort, who has promised to give strength unto his people, and to bless his people with peace. Krissy, Blayke, Bruce, Shelia & Jabez,
Though words cannot fully ease the pain of losing a loved one, I pray that you find comfort in the promises of our Lord Jesus Christ. Gabe was a cherished individual whose faith and love for others left a lasting impact on all who knew them.
As believers in Christ, we hold fast to the hope of the great resurrection. The Apostle Paul reminds us in 1 Thessalonians 4:14 (NIV), "For we believe that Jesus died and rose again, and so we believe that God will bring with Jesus those who have fallen asleep in him." This profound truth assures us that Gabe is now in the presence of our Savior, experiencing the fullness of His love and peace.
Jesus also said in John 11:25-26 (NIV), "I am the resurrection and the life. The one who believes in me will live, even though they die; and whoever lives by believing in me will never die." May these words be a source of strength and hope, reminding us that death is not the end, but a transition to eternal life with our Lord.
Please know that you are in our thoughts and prayers during this difficult time. If there is anything we can do to support you, please do not hesitate to reach out. May God's comfort and peace surround you and your family, and may you find solace in the hope of the resurrection and the eternal life we share in Christ Jesus.

A leaf gently flutters toward the little girl standing watching it from the path where they always walked. An errant wind had plucked it from the branch, long before summer was done.
Grasping it in her tiny fingers she holds it close and runs down the worn path to home. In her room she carefully slips it between the pages of their favorite book and closes it tight.
Tomorrow and the next day she will look at it again and remember she was a daddy's girl.

Over the years I have known Gabe, this camping trip was one of the best I have had. I always loved being the third wheel with Krissy and Gabe. He did eventually let me come back down.

I can’t believe my little cousin is gone. I wish we could have had a chance to get to know each other better. I only found you on Facebook a couple weeks ago and hoped we could chat and reconnect. Uncle Bruce & Aunt Sheila I can’t begin to express how sorry I am about you losing Gabe. You’ve been in my prayers constantly since I heard. Jay I can’t imagine what you’re going through either losing your big brother this way. If you ever need anything I’m always here for you bud.
