Obituary of Angelito Miranda Saballas

The family of Angelito "Lito" Miranda Saballas are saddened to announce his passing on Sunday, August 25, 2024, in Fort McMurray, AB. at the age of 71 years.

Angelito will be lovingly remembered by his wife, Tresila "Tracy" Saballas; daughter, Tresilyn Saballas; son, Aaron Saballas; sisters, Flordeliza, Rufina (Peter), and Nonita (Manny); brothers, Roberto (Mayette) and Simeon Jr. "Jun" (Ruth); nieces and nephews; many extended family members and friends. But, most of all by Aspen, his best four-legged friend.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Simeon and Leonora Saballas, brothers, Nicasio and Teodorico Saballas.

Lito thoroughly enjoyed everything related to the outdoors, from hunting and fishing to growing his own fruits and vegetables in his backyard garden. He was always willing to lend a helping hand to those who asked—though it was often his way or no way at all. Lito was well-known in the hunting and shooting community, whether through interactions in the woods, at the FMFGA shooting range, or at his favorite store, The Canadian Tire Outdoor Store. Though he was strict and by the book, he eagerly shared his passions with those eager to learn, always willing to teach and inspire those who would listen.
