I remember how Lizz lit up when talking about pokémon and her baby brothers. I am heartbroken that she is no longer with us, but I am grateful that I was lucky enough to know her for a couple of years. Rest easy, Lizz, thank you for your impact on this world.

Lizz was authentically herself, something that I think all of us strive to be. She was confident in who she was and wasn’t afraid to show it. I truly admired Lizz for that. She had the nicest smile, which would light up the room and the faces in it. Her laugh was contagious. Lizz was always so kind. Even though I only knew her a short time, I know she left a huge impact on everyone that entered her life by simply being herself. You will be greatly missed Lizz. You have no idea how much you meant to all of us. My condolences to the family and everyone impacted.

Lizz was a gentle soul, quiet and shy, yet she left an impression on everyone who knew her. She moved with such grace, her presence always calm. I teased her about her nails, how they were always perfectly polished and better than mine. She’d give me the sweetest little smile in return, never once saying a bad word about mine, though we both knew they were far from perfect….one might say horrible.
Lizz was brave in her own quiet way. She lived her authentic self, a leader not in loud words or bold gestures, but in her quiet confidence. She taught me that strength doesn’t always need a voice to be heard, showing us that you don’t need to be loud to make an impact—you just need to be true to yourself.
You will be missed Elizabeth.
Love, Ms. Baragar

Lizz was one of my first Esports student athletes and currently one of our most successful. I had the pleasure of teaching her in grade 7 and again in highschool. She will be greatly missed.

I had the privilege of teaching Lizz in her Grade 10 year. She may have been one of the quieter students around but she had a lot to say with her expressions. You could tell when she had something to say just by looking at her.
Lizz and I bonded over anime and music, and she tried to get me into ‘better’ video games. I was very excited to see her play on the Esports team where she got to show off how good she was at said ‘better’ video games.
Even though she might not have always enjoyed my lessons, she always had a smile on her face and a kind look in her eyes. Lizz will truly be missed.
All the best,
Mrs. Loxam
