Obituary of Mavis Lorna Cooper-Mercredi

On Wednesday, December 11th, 2024, we lost our beloved Mother, Grandmother, Sister, Aunt, Cousin
and Friend Mavis Cooper-Mercredi.

Mavis passed away suddenly in Fort McKay, Alberta at the age of 60. She leaves to mourn her
Daughters: Krystal (Frank), Chantel (Whitney), and Mandy (Tommy); Sister, Marlene (Bruce) Cooper-
Sereda; Grandchildren: Saharrah, Eli and Bryer; Honorary Children: Ruby McKay, Sheldon Shott, Jalel Eid
and Jason Seenum; Aunts: Elizabeth King, and Evelyn (Mason) Boucher; Precious Dogs: Gomez and her
Little Girl Mokey, as well as many Nieces, Nephews, Extended Family and Friends.

She is predeceased by her Husband, Barney Mercredi; Grandson, Asher Humby; Parents: Margaret and
Ed Cooper; Brothers: Gary, Jerry and Joseph Cooper; Sis-in-Law, Theresa Marcel(Smally); Grandparents:
Alice and Alex Boucher, Maggie and George Cooper; Nephews: Jerry Cooper and Jarred Seenum; Great-
Niece, Theresa Marcel-Boucher; Her loyal, dog Bootz; as well as numerous Aunts, Uncles, Cousins, family
& friends.
