Ed and I are so very sorry to hear of Louis’ death. We were neighbours and friends for the thirty years we lived in Fort McMurray. Louis was such a great neighbour; friendly and helpful. He loved his cars and was always out shining and polishing them so they looked new. Our condolences to Jeannie. We are thinking of you at this sad time.
I made one visit to fort mcmurray around 18 years ago. Louis was the best tour guide you could wish for. I received an education about the tar sands which I’m sure even the president of the company who ran it couldn’t give. Thoroughly enjoyed the many conversations we shared over drinks in the evenings. He was a gentleman in every respect. Rest easy Louis.
