I knew Eileen to be an honest, compassionate and dedicated Nurse and Leader who did much to advance the care that people received at home. I remember during interviews for new staff hires, she would go off script, and ask personal questions about family, losses endured and put less emphasis on the skills questions. When I asked her why, she would say : skills we can teach, compassion we cannot! " She gave her best and demanded it form others and made us want to follow her lead. She was kind with her critiques and lavish with her praise. I will remember her as the best dressed Manager I ever had as well lol ! Much love to her family during this time. She will be missed by many, but more so by her family of whom she was so proud.
