With great sadness and huge tears I cannot think of one memory, even though it’s been years since being in Danas company, at least once a year we would find each other on social media and have a big ole yarn on “waddaya at mysun? Married yets? Wanna get marrieds? And a pile of laughs. And he always seemed to find me when I needed a good laugh, or when I wasn’t in a good place in life. It’s what he done.
Just before Christmas I talked to Dana and we discussed the fact my kids being almost raised and I told him 24 more weeks and I was done raising youngsters (jokingly) and he was blank. He said sure mudder Idn finished raising me and I’m 41! Dead seriously, well I had tears rolling couldn’t even get a word out.
We went to school in badger together and every single day this man made me cry tears of laughter and not just once a day every time we seen each other, with all honesty I don’t think I’d a got through without him
Rest easy my friend, I don’t hope your dancing, I knows your dancing, and them angels lol well I hope their ready for ya because like I always said “Dana musun your something else!”
Loves ya buddy , catch ya on the other side xox

When Dana and I were around 5 or 6, my brother, Jim, and my dad were removing an old cast-iron stove out of our home to discard of it. While they were struggling to get monstrous stove out of the house, they seen Dana walking on all fours with a pair of rubber boots on his hand and a pair on his feet. Well, needless to say this struck both Jim and dad so funny that my brother ended up dropping the stove on dad's foot. As my dad howled in pain, Dana came over to see what they were doing. While my dad was cussing out my brother for dropping the stove on his foot, my brother, through laughter, asked Dana why he was walking around like that...dana matter factly replies, "Because, Im a dog and that's how dogs walk." He then continued to walk down toward his grandparents house, just a house down from us.
Dana, when we were children, always made me laugh, he had so much energy, and I was quite impressed on how he could swing a bat. I never seen Dana be mean to anyone. You're gone to soon, old friend.
So sorry for your loss.
Sincerely,
Karen Park
