We are so sad to hear of Connie’s passing. We were neighbours for 15 years and her and Richard were the best you could have.
A lot of time has passed and we have not forgotten nor will we her infectious smile that greeted everybody on our street.
Our hearts go out to the family.

Connie was an inspiring lady.
She put up a brave and positive front while fighting her illnesses like a trooper. Her default expression was a smile.
An honour and pleasure to know—I am grateful to have had the chance to do so

Connie was my 1st cousin & I looked up to her. I enjoyed many visits to their family farm in Mossleigh & we had many fun adventures. Even after Connie moved north she always made time for visits with my folks (her Auntie Mabel loved her so much) when she was back home. I’ll never forget how she beamed with such love & pride when she became a Mom & when she shared with me her immense joy at becoming a Grandma. Our family will miss her gentle spirit and we extend our deepest sympathies to all her family. This past month has seen such a great loss with Bill, David and now Connie. We were all blessed with the life of such a caring, kind and loving woman like Connie. My sympathy to her girls and grandkids & her Samaroden and Brown families. Sincerely Lorea (Beagle) Grant / Cochrane, Alberta

My heart is broken. (Cause it is all about me, right? Not). Connie and Richard were the best neighbours a newbie homeowner could want. She had been making "I'm moving" noises for a couple of years and I was dreading the event. Well, she did it, just not the way I was anticipating. I will miss her every day. And our Rickerts Red meetings in our back yards.
I am imagining Richard and David and Bill and Pedro and Laura welcoming her home.

Mrs. B was our childhood “other Mother”. Any number of teenagers in her basement never seemed to be too many. Her door was always open, there was always enough chilli or lasagna for everyone, and no one was without a ride home - even if she had to make two trips. She was kind and caring, but could be firm and put us in our place when we needed to hear it. So many memories of my youth are because she was willing to open her home to her daughters’ friends, and I will forever be grateful to her.

Carrie, Christie and Family,
My heart goes out to you and your family. Connie was a very special women and I will forever remember our Auntie/Niece chats. She was so proud of your both and the women you became and often talked about your accomplishments. Madison and Quinn were her joys and every time she spoke of them she was grinning from ear to ear. Love you both.
Cousin Koralee
