Obituary of Connie May Brown

BROWN, Connie May of Fort McMurray, Alberta, passed away peacefully on January 31st, 2019 at the age of 64. Left to remember her are daughters Rhonda (Colin), Carrie, Christie (Matthew), and granddaughters Madison and Quinn. Also sister Olga (Ernie) and brother Jim (Betty) and sister in laws Wendy and Sylvia. She will also be missed by numerous nieces and nephews. Connie was predeceased by her husband Richard, brothers Bill and David, and parents Laura and Peter.

Connie moved to Fort McMurray in 1977 from southern Alberta. She worked as the Office Manager at Vista Ridge All Seasons Park since 1998 and left behind many friends in the ski industry and community. She had a love for knitting, sewing, quilting, gardening, and the prairies. She held a special place in her heart for her two granddaughters.

She will be greatly missed.

There will be a celebration of Connie’s life on February 9th, 2019 at the Vista Ridge chalet at 6pm.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Medicine Ward at the Northern Lights Regional Health Center.
