I’m so sorry to hear of your Dad’s passing . No matter the age, it always hurts.
I spent quite a bit of time with your Mom and Dad in Placentia and saw the love they had for each other and their kids. There were always lots of laughs when the Bruce families got together ! No doubt, there is extra laughter in heaven these days.

Uncle Willie was the last of the Bruce family, mom always referred to him as her little brother. I ate a good many home made French fries at their house when I was in high school.Its never easy to lose a parent no matter their age but may happy memories help you in the days ahead.

An old quote says, “Heaven is to be one with God.” In your case, I believe Heaven is to be one with not only God, but now with Nanny, little Denis, and my sweet little Landon. I find peace in knowing that you are all reunited. In the last few years, I have enjoyed our one on one haircut time, truly getting to know each other and hearing stories about your younger days in Newfoundland. We both shared such a passion for that place. Please remind baby Landon how much we love him, and maybe share some of those stories we exchanged, with him.
