Wes, we are going to miss you so much.
You could always lighten up any event with your infectious laugh, silly antics and, of course, your true stories. The door was always welcome to stop in for a drink.
You and Carrie were the first to welcome us when we moved to Pearson Drive. You made us feel right at home, our Fort Mac family. We shared whatever what was needed…heck, we don’t even know who’s tools are who’s anymore, they just landed with whoever used it last. Over the last 14 year there are to many memories to count. In that time, we’ve been through hell and high water and everything in between.
You were always an ear when needed without judgement…well, unless it was deserved. You weren’t afraid to say it as it is. That’s what we loved about you.
You may no longer be here, but you are in our hearts. We loves ya man!

Losing a loved one is never easy! Wes will live on in us every time we share a story! He might be gone but will never be forgotten. The days to come may not be easy but know this Carrieann I am here for you and the girls no matter what time of the day it is. I know Wes would always give me a hard time but we are family and that will never change.

No matter the time Wes was in the garage. Growing up Wes would scream at us to get out of his garage, but we couldn’t understand his newfie accent. I would do anything to be kicked out of the garage again.

I've been drawn to Wes from the day I met him and I'm blown away at how hard this is hitting me personally and can't imagine how hard it is for everyone in their own way. That man had a much tighter grip on me than I'd ever realized. Carrie, Hannah, Myla and Jenna,,,, we are there for ye in any way big or small....
And Wes,,,, Thank You,,,,, Thank You for being You,,, for telling me how it is,,always,, no filters,, always... I'll cherish my time with you always Buddy! I Love You Man! Meeeeooowww!

Laughter will be a little less, smiles a bit dimmer without Wes, his laughter was infectious and was the life of the party.
I will always remember him saying the night before my wedding joking “ Are you sure you know who you are marrying ” lol then told me that Kirk is a great man and how happy he was that he could be a part of our day
He was a great spouse, father, and friend, we will miss him dearly

Sincerest condolences to all the family and friends at this difficult time. So sad to hear of Wesley’s passing. Wes was a happy go lucky kind of guy. When he was in the room, no matter how bad the day or week was going, It instantly got better. His contagious laughter and enthusiasm made him someone people wanted to be around. Wes was adored by everyone around him. To say he will be missed is truly an understatement.

I first heard of Wes many years ago when I started work at Syncrude base plant. I recall people talking about him like an integral part of the team and how welcoming him and his family were - always with an open invitation to their home for some food and drinks. During that time I never personally got to know Wes but after he moved to Aurora, Josh would often come home still laughing at jokes Wes was dropping during the day at work.
Its clear he had an energy that brightened the days of the people around him.
I didn't officially get to know Wes until this past summer at Kirk's wedding and since learning of the news I've played that weekend outover and over in my head. It was such a pleasure to spend that time with both of you and get to know you. I have this photo of Wes from that weekend and I remember when Josh took it he was saying Wes looked better than the view behind him.
Carrieann,
We haven't stopped thinking about you and the girls and are holding you all close to our hearts ❤️
With so much love and healing,
Katelyn & Josh Harbin

My friend wes!
Words cannot express my feelings as I write this. A tear for the heartache I feel, a smile for the memories shared. 24 years we have been close friends, you have been there through all my ups, downs the goods and the bads. I will never forget! I will cherish the memory of you being able to stand at my wedding when all thru the years we thought it would never happen. You will always be missed my friend, a piece of me goes with you, hold onto it til I see you again! Love kirk!
Carrie you have been there also from the start, I hurt for you and the girls, just know I love you and my family will always be there for yours!

we have been Wes's neighbor for about 15 years. He was always so fun and had a positive outlook on life. his laugh was awesome. you couldn't help but smile or laugh when he would laugh. we was always so nice and would always give out compliments to everyone. He also loved the crazy of having a bunch of kids around lol. luke says, he loved that he would invite anyone over to bullshit and have a laugh. he was an awesome host. he loved to tell stories and loved to hear everyone else's stories. he was a great man and will be missed by our family dearly.

I met Wes when we were teenagers. He and Carrieann were room mates then. She always spoke highly of him and she was right! He was sweet and respectful to everyone he met. He might have been shy and quiet back then, but was always the the funniest in the room. He would do anything for anyone! Even only being a friend to Carrieann at the time, he always made sure she got home safe from work (at the mall) and even me too when she and I worked together! He always ensured our safety.
Wes, thank you for all you did for us back then and your big heart and for all of the belly laughs! You will be missed tremendously, my friend.

Words are hard to find with this news. Condolences to all. Wes was an absolute joy to be around and a very dedicated worker which was a testimonial of how he dealt with life in general. I knew Wes could be called on at any time to help out and he was more than eager to assist. I feel so sad as everyone else I am sure, a great loss to all. We all have fond memories of his positivity personality that will live on in those whom he touched. RIP Wes

I am so sorry to hear about Wes' passing. I always loved being around Wes; he was such a happy-go-lucky kind of guy and could inject a laugh into about any situation. He was truly such a kind-hearted person who I have thought of often in the years since I last saw him. My deepest condolences to Carrieann, who is equally as wonderful, and their children.
