Kritsana Naowakhun was a loving husband, father, brother, son, friend, and teacher. Kritsana, also known as "Krishna," was a multicultural individual of Chinese and Thai heritage with a strong faith in Thai Buddhism, Hinduism, and Chinese cultural beliefs.

Born and raised in Bangkok, Thailand, Kritsana had always been a creative person, engaged in creating art, playing guitar, and cooking. He was a talented musician and artist, studying Fine Art at Silpakorn University in Thailand. He was well-known and loved throughout the Fort McMurray region for his artistry, art mentorship, teaching, volunteerism, and charity work.

He is also survived by his wife, Heather Ann (née Hurtubise), and two children, Jasmine and Manon. His in-law family, Keith and Catherine Hurtubise (née Houston), Leah Hurtubise and Dave Essig, Alex Hurtubise and Rae Dallard, and Elaine Hurtubise (née Rowlandson) are also deeply saddened by the recent loss of their son, brother, and grandson.
