To Clarice, Janice and the Stratton families
We were saddened to hear of the passing of Pastor Stratton. I will never forget the seven weeks of Evangelistic meetings I did at the church in Bonavista, and the great harvest of souls that God gave us. A better soul winner than Pastor Carl would be difficult to find! I was just a young Evangelist, and he taught me so much! See you all over there. Our thoughts and prayers are with you today. z

To Clarice and all the extended family:
So sorry to learn of Carl's departure from this earth. He has arrived at his final destination just a bit ahead of us. We have many special memories and really enjoyed our week-end with them while in Welland. Even our beloved son Timothy was there that time as well as my precious husband Leslie. They are both gone as well, so I understand the void and making more special memories with them. Now, there is no more pain or suffering and our love and prayers are with you at this time.
Fern Bath (Pastor Leslie Bath in heaven and Timothy) Welcome Home!

To our Stratton family'
Carl was a wonderful brother-in-law. I have not forgot him as my SS teacher when I was a child.
He was always fun to be around him and Clarice. Pat and I have shared so many hours and meals with them.
There are too many good memories from when we pastored near each other to out times in Welland to relate here.
Uncle Carl was held high by Beth and his love to her.
We have long shared faith and hope thru many situations.
Now we have loads of love and care for Clarice and all the family.

We are saddened at the news of Pastor Carl's passing but have the sweet assurance that we will see him again one day. I, Susan, had the privilege of working with Pastor Carl during his years at Faith Tabernacle. He had a passion and sincere love of all people. During his years at the "Open Arms Mission" he taught me a great life lesson and that was "better to error on the side of giving than withholding". Our love goes out to Clarice and the family as they mourn his loss. You are in our thoughts and in our prayers as you walk through this valley.

Uncle Carl was a special person in my life for all my teen and adult years. I even had the privilege of working with him on staff at Faith Welland when I was just starting out in ministry. Not only was he a wonderful uncle to me, he also was such a good example of a pastor's heart that I could follow. He has left an incredible legacy to so many people.
Sending our love to Aunt Clarice, Barry, Janice, Lyndon and all the family. Wish we were closer this week to be part of the celebration of his life, but know you are in our hearts and prayers.

Our deepest condolences. We loved Pastor Carl and knew both him and Clarice during their years in Welland. Pastor Carl had an amazing memory, never forgetting names and faces. He was always quick to greet and chat with everyone. I remember him leading hymns and his willingness to be involved in church life well into retirement. Not only was he a hero of the faith: he was a hero AT Faith.

My thoughts and prayers to Aunt Clarice, Barry, Lyndon and Janice as well as all the grand and great grand children of my Uncle Carl.
Uncle Carl has joined his other nine siblings in a far better place than a sick bed. I feel quite sure his siblings and him are now holding hands as a total family at last...... (Uncle Carl being the last one to complete the circle).
It is my hope that those family and friends that mourn his passing will do so with sadness but happy in the life that he lived and enjoyed to the end.
Rest in Peace Uncle Carl.
